I have verizon fios and I HATE it I can’t wait until my contract is up….. The internet is exactlly the same and I think they sell my information to other companies because I’ve never had any marketers calling me until I got verizon. I just checked my phone and I have 27 messages ALL from marketers. Their customer service is HORRIBLE someone actually hung up the phone on me after I spent 10 min. talking to a damn machine.
@xxSuperCoolAznxx wonderful thing is I can upload at 18,750 mb which means the speed of uploading a utube vid will be capped by utube at that point. To test my internet speed i use internal fiber servers because speed sites can’t handle that speed. Also I use professional cisco routers (currently a 2800 series router) which is professional grade routers cuz consumer routers u find in walmart/bestbuy cant handle that speed.. not even close. but they could handle verizon FiOS! lmao
@xxSuperCoolAznxx actually its quite slow. Altho that was a year ago, I could get 100/100mb then and now even 150/150 here in the USA. besides verizon being limited at 50MB, THE UPLOAD TO GO WITH IT IS 20MB! which is very sad. I get 50 UP AND DOWN which is what fiber was made. Verizon is just ripping u guys off lol. I’m about to get 150/150 that’s 150 mb up and down which means 18,750 megabytes a second. If a song is 3 mb thats 6 songs downloaded every second

Im a fios salesman and I dont consider myself a crook all of my customers have my cellphone number. I sign up 20 people a week. Ive been doing this for 2 years. Ive only had one customer who had questions about their bill and that was because of a prorated charge on the first bill. 24/7 tech support and computer world magazine says we have better hd picture than anyone period.
Sigh, I wish FIOS was in my area but I think we’ll never get it because of stupid AT&T.

- false, verizon will never bill you anything not included in the promotional information. If you didn’t read it its your fault. How long have you lived in a capitalist society? its common sense to do a bit of your own research after hearing promotional offers.

The salesman are crooks. The fios internet is not bad but when you get the bill, you will be in for a shocker. And verizon CS which is only open a few hours a day will NOT help you one bit. Buyer beware, the verizon fios sales crew are crooked. The worst part is the picture on HDTVs is worse than directvs picture :/.

I cancel in January, a lot of issues with VERIZON After I cancel Billing dep. was sending me bills which were not accurate . When calling billing dep. they were telling me that I need to wait for FINAL BILL so I did . I got $47.25 check from dated 04/29/2009 and 0n 06/01/09 I got call from some COLLECTION AGENCY so good luck you will neeed a lot of it and FIOS is not as prefect as you think
